Another Bender?

image source: abovethelaw

Read it and weep, this is from the Judgment delivered by the Federal Court when the three panel Judges with majority 2-1 overturned sodomy conviction against DSAI.

“To summarise our judgment, even though reading the appeal record, we find evidence to confirm that the appellants were involved in homosexual activities and we are more inclined to believe that the alleged incident at Tivoli Villa did happen, sometime, this court, as a court of law, may only convict the appellants if the prosecution has successfully proved the alleged offences as stated in the charges, beyond reasonable doubt, on admissible evidence and in accordance with established principles of law....."

"In this case Azizan’s evidence on the “date” of the incident is doubtful as he had given three different “dates” in three different years, the first two covering a period of one month each and the last covering a period of three months. He being the only source for the “date”, his inconsistency, contradiction and demeanor when giving evidence on the issue does not make him a reliable source, as such, an essential part of the offence has not been proved by the prosecution. "....

"While the testimonies of Dr. Mohd. Fadzil and Tun Haniff and the conduct of the first appellant confirm the appellants’ involvement in homosexual activities, such evidence does not corroborate Azizan’s story that he was sodomised by both the appellants at the place, time and date specified in the charge. In the absence of any corroborative evidence it is unsafe to convict the appellants on the evidence of an accomplice alone unless his evidence is unusually convincing or for some reason is of special weight which we find it is not."

"Furthermore, the offence being a sexual offence, in the circumstances that we have mentioned, it is also unsafe to convict on the evidence of Azizan alone. "......

Freedom To Wear

No more lipstick and high-heels in Kota Bharu, it is an Order issued by Kota Baru Municipal Council.

High-heel too noisy? Agree.. it is very noisy, it should be worn at Pasar Malam or at official functions where TPM's wife is singing.

Short man hate high heels. Check whether those who came out with the Order is a short man or tall man, please check also whether any woman got involved in issuing the Order to banned highheels. Please take note, short man like tall women, not highheels. "Anda Tidak Percaya? Ask Tom Cruise."

Lipsticks banned too? Too much! Says who you can’t put on your lipstick while working for Majlis Perbandaran Kota Baru and or any other related thereto?

Yes you can, just wear this;

Better A Thief Than A Liar

image source: chisnell

I just don’t know why we should take RPK’s Statutory Declaration seriously. RPK look like someone who is “Gila Talak”. If he doesn’t get Pak Lah, he hit KJ, otherwise Najib, since his attempt against Najib going to fail, he tried to “screw” Najib’s wife. Only those “Gila Talak” like RPK will go on and on against UMNO Leaders this way.

RPK did something I waited for a long time, that’s right, doing something really really stupid. Having a sworn SD (Statutory Declaration) on hearsay accounts is stupid, it is not supported by any other evidence. And who is this person who has no “ehem…ehem” who tell all to RPK, of course I would like to know. By knowing this we all know the Statutory Declaration sworn by RPK contain one lie. This no “ehem…ehem…” person could be at the crime scene as well which makes it four and not three as stated by RPK in his Statutory Declaration.

Otherwise how would he know?

No Press No Fun

I had the opportunity to roam around the Parliament many years ago. There are two areas in the Parliament building which I notice MPs are approachable, at the cafeteria and at the lobby. These are the places where the MPs can obviously be seen and I think they want to be seen too. There are corners where they can sit among themselves which restricted from the public and the media.

The Order to cordoned the area by the Minister In Charge of Parliament today by putting tapes around the lobby and cafeteria in order to stop the media personnel from entering these two places will only cause more loss than gain to both sides of the MPs.

The Press is only allow to enter the area during lunch break between 1pm to 2.30pm.

For what? Hunger Strike? Its lunch time, all will be out for lunch.

Later in the day, after many protests plus displeasure, I heard they lifted the Order, one of those thing we are good at, one day we banned the foreigners from buying our petrol and diesel, the next day we lifted the ban, similarly, one morning they banned the press from entering the parliament lobby, by late noon, they lifted the ban.

Just continue with the ban, we know how to catch the MPs, where and when other than the lobby and cafeteria. I am not making this up, I can never forget someone I know decided to talk to his MP in the “Gents Rest Room.”

You may try but “No Camera Please!”.

KENANG JASA BOSS LAMA

image source: gibsonbooks

There was a time when the television news got dull, in particular TV3 News, it got brighten when someone such as Dato Samy Velloo appears in the news and steal the whole show. We all remember the way he speaks, the way he say it, and the way he justify his policy, it gets more entertaining when Samy spoke during parliament question time. There are those whom I know can’t even hear his name, all the more watching him on the tele, those who fail to watch Samy on television fail to take advantage the greatest humour on Malaysian television. Samy is as good as any stand up comedian.

Two days ago I must give him my due respect, all these while I never take this man seriously. When asked about Tun Mahathir so called racist remarks, his reply was fair and straight sounded like this, “it is not right for him to talk so much about his former boss he served for many many years”, how could he, when this Boss rescued and saved his political career for so many years.

At least I know he is grateful, there are many out there so ungrateful to the their former Boss.

WE DONT CARE ANYMORE

image source: nannyknowsbest

“What the hell do you think you are doing!!!”

If I can help it, I would like to refrain myself from using that word. In fact I don’t use such phrases in my daily life. Nor do I want to put it in my writing. I don’t want to sound like RPK who want to send everyone to hell. But I can’t help it when Acting Gerakan President asked SAPP to reconsider their move to leave BN, no wonder Gerakan lost beyond belief. What the hell he has in mind?

Until today no action has been taken against SAPP, come on boys, SAPP Chief insulted everyone in the BN. If no action taken by Monday, it is a sign, a sign of more party in the coalition will leave BN, a sign everyone in the coalition is weak including the PM, a sign of a major blow around the corner.

“What the heck, you are the PM.” We dont care anymore.

It Is Not That Dirty, Its Politics,

image source: pacaritambo

Last night, in your press statement you showed you have full support from SAPP Supreme Council, you have a good laugh, smile, grin all the way during the press conference. Wah…Wah..Wah.. YB Yong Teck Lee the way you laugh grin and smile as if you won a lottery. Do you or are you going to win more than a lottery? What do you know that we don’t know? Tell us. Will you be Sabah Chief Minister for life?

By tomorrow, SAPP will be free, they can be on their own or to be with any other coalition other than BN. What a joy, a victory, more victory if the motion planned materialise.

Where is the PM? Not in the news? Where is Pak Lah? Why only Pak Najib appears on TV3 prime time news this evening?

If that is the case we can expect an announcement from Pak Lah tomorrow morning and don’t forget from AI too. What do you know that we dont know? So we too can laugh smile and grin the whole day.

Mr Yong, laughing, smiling, grinning is good, its healthy, just remember this, “Ketawa Orang, Ketawa Awak, Tak Sedar Orang Ketawakan Awak.”

Piss Off !!! You Are Not Needed.

image source: piss of i m busy

The call for motion of no confidence against the Prime Minister by the leader of SAPP is definitely a slap on the PM face. From 8th March, 2008, it just going on and on, everywhere anywhere someone will call for Pak Lah resignation except this time by calling for a motion of no confidence. Too much, just too much. Where is KJ? Time for you to sing out loud out as much as you speak out loud asking Petronas this and that. Time for you to come out to defend your family.
Prior to 8th March, 2008 he will jump at anything, he seems to be panting everytime he speaks, as if running from one place to another. The good one was when he lead a protest at KLCC chasing Condolezza Rice out of Kuala Lumpur.

From the information gathered, the motion of no confidence to be tabled by Yong Teck Lee against the PM will not see the light of the day.
It is a brave move but a stupid one too. How strong would SAPP be without the coalition? Although they are still in the coalition, I think they will be out soon unless someone from SAPP table the same motion against Yong Teck Lee. How do they know the Sabahan do not want Pak Lah anymore?
There will be more Sabahan rallying to support Pak Lah, to be realistic more will sympathise Pak Lah. Especially when Pak Lah said he cannot satisfy Yong Teck Lee’s greed. Good show Pak Lah. Tell us what he ask from you. We would like to know.

Yong Teck Lee, you can kiss your political career goodbye. By the way, Piss Off!!!

100 Days, No Ella, No Mas Idayu.

image source: musicweb international

What do we get in 100 days?

I am more interested on statement to be issued by the State Government of Pakatan Rakyat. After all they are looking forward to the Battle of Cross Over, they declared time and time again, by 16th September, 2008, this country will have a new Prime Minister.

What do we get for the last 100 days, we do get some rubbish:-

-Insults, yes insults, to the Sultan, Raja Muda and our intelligent;
-No class, liken to street traditional medicine men of MPs;
-Big Headed Menteri Besar good at blaming previous State Government;
-Disagreement among PR on the appointment of local council members, this is still going on until today,
-Making a big issue out of Songkok;
-Condoning unethical conducts among themselves;
-The call for defection among BN component,
-Supporting thugs and potential rioters as seen at Bukit Mahkota Cheras;
-Banning Islam Hadhari;

-And my favourite, is the call to ban the performance of Ella & Mas Idayu at the opening of Sultan Selangor Cup.

Aren't they all working so hard for our well being. Give them another 100 days, they need it.

Kesian Minister Kita

source: book-minister

This is dedicated to the Minister of Youth & Sports.

How does it feel to look stupid at Sungai Petani yesterday? How does it feel when the rakyat think you are worthless good for nothing? How does it feel when they say you have done nothing good for them? How does it feel when the people doesn’t think you deserve their respect? How does it feel when the rakyat think someone else is better than you?

I have put my point clear, use your brain in sports, just tell your boss it doesn’t work. Calling Dato Mokhzani to quit his post as SIC Chairman will back fire.

You are a new face in the cabinet, don’t get into confrontation with anyone in particular UMNO members who have nothing to loose, the UMNO members are sick and tired of people like you. It is people like you that cause UMNO members to vote the opposition. If you don’t get it, then I think you too, should quit.

We Finally Put Our Flag To Good Use

The Government put up a flag at the Middle Rock today.

Why do we raise the flag? We took the measures after we lost one Pulau, not Rock….Pulau, a situation of a typical Malay, “Sudah Terhantuk, Baru Tergadah.”

The raising of the flag was done in full ceremonial, witnessed by among others the First Admiral. I can never forget these words, said to me long time ago,“Don’t take flag easily, people die for the flag.”

Sadly, in three months time, like all the flags raised in Kuala Lumpur, this Flag of Batuan Tengah will spoil left to rot. No one will attend to replace it. No one will defend the flag from humiliation since we are known to do things “Hangat hangat tahi ayam.”

Below is a very most famous photo, taken on 23rd February, 1945, US Marines and US Navy raising the flag of United States atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima, World War II.

Smile, Its MB Khalid, Its Friday

source image: star.com.my

For many years I have to live with huge billboards with photo of Khir Toyo, it is all over the place in Selangor, in particular at Ampang and Shah Alam. Next to his photo, they put up the former MB handphone number as well.

To be honest, everytime when I saw the billboard, “Hati Sakit”. I know if I dial the number or text messages, I will get no reply or someone who is not the MB will pick up the phone. I know one of UMNO Head who leave two handphone numbers on his call card, when call or text, you will be lucky if the phone is answered and or reply to your messages. I suggest he put “Good Luck Wish” on his call card, better still a competition is held, those who ever reach him get some sort of prize.

Today you can see the billboard at PJ with Khalid MB photo, nice big picture with convincing slogans, no telephone numbers for you to call.

Why the big billboard, I thought they despise waste of public money. Was there a threat to remove or terminate the contract of the contractor who put up the old billboards all over Selangor?

I was told by a maintenance contractor, if you go to MPSJ and MBSA, to get a job or bidding for maintenance contract etc, or extending contract period, they will ask you whether you are a PKR member. If you are not, you can kiss your contract, tender, bidding, goodbye.

I know the previous government never ask question such as which political party you are associated with before giving you a contract. As long as you are seen to be supportive to Government and with track records of performing contract, that will suffice.

Are You In Favour Of Four Days Week?

image source: flickr

“If nothing change by August, about time we get a new government.” he said. A bloke I know at the office putting his point over teh tarik. He sound frustrated.

Do we need a new government? I notice, the public is beginning to buy promises made by AI and his PKR. Of all the promises, the most tempting one is the reduction of the price of fuel.

I am feeling the pinch myself, I travel substantially, I am not entitled to mileage claim and my clients are not interested in listening to my sobbing stories that I need more money to keep my office running. If nothings change by August, I might have to work on a four days week instead of five days week.

Common sense tells me it might work. Since Monday on average, I spend RM30 on fuel, RM10-15 on food, RM6-10 on tolls, parking etc, on average RM50.00 more or less when it used to be a lot less. On a bigger scale, four day week will cut office bills substantially from phone to electricity. There will be no demand for pay rise since all work less a day in a week.
Before I run out of money, before I go bust, before I got no job, this measures could be workable.

Cut The Deepest, Cutting Oil Subsidies

10 percent cut? You must be joking. Is that all?

Pak Lah today announced the Government to cut 10 per cent of its expenditure to ease the burden of the public.. Why 10 per cent? Why not 30 or 40 per cent? After all its “elaun keraian”, for the time being most of the rakyat are living without it, it is not important, it is not necessary in their daily life. How can 10 per cent ease the public burden? The real burden is the rise on the price of fuel and food. It has risen more than 40 per cent.

Do Ministers really need to go overseas attending conferences and seminars? I don’t think so. We should stop sending our officials for seminars and conferences abroad, it is a complete waste of time and money. No more sending delegates for this and that trade forum.

The lists can go on and on. I personally think 10 per cent cut is a joke. Cut the deepest like you cut the oil subsidies. “Hendak Seribu Daya, Tak Nak Seribu Dalih”.

Di Mana Salah Songkok?

source: static.flickr.com

Another issue of Songkok. First occurrence in Perak, now in Johor.

DAP party assemblymen having second thought on wearing songkok at the opening of State Legislative Assembly due 19th June, 2008.

I am very surprise with their conduct, even if they really want to insult the Malay, do it in a more constructive way. Don’t they know wearing a songkok doesn’t make a person a Malay and if they worry too much, it doesn’t make anyone a Muslim at all.

Kit Siang stand on songkok was put up in his blog, he could be by now saying, “...DAP members wearing songkok is a sign of insanity....” If you don’t believe me, read his stand on prefect wearing songkok at Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar.

About time we label DAP ANTI SONGKOK. I would like to add, but why bother, they seems to get AI blessing.

Watch out PAS, one day, God forbid, DAP will band the wearing of jubah in a meeting among the Pakatan Rakyat.

To the three DAP of Johor State Assembly, if you do not want to wear Songkok, it is fine, you are at liberty to defend your fundamental rights, having said that, don’t bother attending the opening of Johor State Assembly, you people are insulting.

A Joke Is A Joke

During a cabinet meeting,"read Chedet.com", Tun Mahathir said, "The first thing we do, we hang the lawyers." quoting Shakespeare. He was having fun, poking at lawyers who has no sense of humour. Ohhh... what a sensitive lot aren't they? You tell them its a joke, they will tell you its bad taste, they bored you with their ego. Boring people lawyers, Tun Mahathir should have took Shakespeare wish and desire literally so that we can have more fun and live in peace.
Today, the walk at Kamunting was organised by a group of lawyers, to support the release of several lawyers from the detention camp. Before this, there were several other lawyers detained in Kamunting including the one that insulted the Sultan of Perak. He deserved it, I have no sympathy at all.
Lawyers are bunch of noisy people who always think they are right and others are wrong. They love themselves so much, it really gets on my nerve. Have you heard of these jokes? Of course about lawyers lah.... whatelse...

- A client who felt his legal bill was too high asked his lawyer to itemise costs. The statement included this item:

“Was walking down the street and saw you on the other side. Walked to the corner to cross at the light, crossed the street and walked quickly to catch up with you. Got close and saw it wasn’t you, RM50.00.”

-Why sharks dont bite lawyers? Professional courtesy.

-A good lawyer knows the law, a great lawyer knows the judge.

Hear...hear...hear.

Another Dilemma

Last Wednesday comment, I suggested eat rice less and drive less to overcome the rising price of rice and fuel. Now there are suggestions that you grow your greens and breed your own livestock such as chicken at your own backyard, which can be seen today at Ampang Kg Melayu or Kampung Pasir Hulu Kelang.

Not a bad idea at all, no problem about that, as simple as ABC to do the two except my reservation on the chicken, I may have a problem, not the breeding part, the “Sembelih” part, I just don’t slaughter or eat chicken I rear at my own backyard. Not when I give them names and call those cute lovely livestock during feeding name such as Didi.

Imagine this is Didi, cage before sembelih, alamak..... Leceh Betul...

Another Malay Dilemma, or its just me, what do you think?

Sumpah Orang Minyak

We can’t help it, we follow suit.

On one hand we stop our neighbours from benefiting our petrol and diesel subsidies, on the other hand we took away the subsidies and raise the price of the oil close to the price of our neighbouring countries.

By August, we will be paying about the same price as our neighbours. Why bother stopping them from buying our petrol in the first place?

Did AI swear “sumpah”, in his election campaign he will reduce the price of petrol and diesel by adding more money to the existing subsidies if the Opposition governs? I think he did, many times.

Now, this Petronas money is being use to subsidies our food, so they say. Let see if AI take this away to subsidies petrol and diesel if AI rule.

I have a simple approach, rice goes up, I take rice less, petrol goes up, I drive less, most of all, blame the Americans for invading Iraq. Tell everyone it is a curse.

The curse of the Iraqis, it is “Sumpah Orang Minyak”.

THE SAME DEVIL

source: flickr.com

I hate MPAJ, yes, that one of Selangor local council covering much of Ampang Pandan Ampang Jaya and Bukit Antarabangsa which from time to time hit the national news for corruption. I was hoping the new State Government will make the change needed. New council members will be appointed among the many professionals volunteers for the betterment of the place we live in, delivering 24 hours council services to residences and businesses. It looks like it is not going to happen, again….

Today, as reported the Selangor Government has yet to finalise the lists of the 11 local councillors, the reason being, disagreement within Pakatan Rakyat on the number of seats to be allocated among themselves.

I hope this message will get across to them. One of the main reason I or we or many hated the previous local councillors because they were selected among local politicians which only care about themselves. Don’t be defensive, we know what you are going to say about it.

It looks like again, people like me will have to deal with the same sort of people except they have better name, Pakatan which put into sentence may sound like this "Kita Pakat, You Take That Project, I Take This Project".
If that is the case, Better The Devil We Know.

Do You Need Brain In Sport?

source: sports.co.za

We knew it and we do nothing about it. It shows, our sports, for many years has been going down the drain as a result of too much politics in it. Indeed, we collected some gold medals , we have one on two consistent talents but then again we are not getting anywhere.
For 10 years we promoted SIC through F1 Race, must be the only successful way to promote this beautiful Country in a big way. Our SIC were envied by our neighbours, from the success of F1, we brought in Japan GT. Perhaps many others in many years to come.

It doesn’t help when the Minister of Youth and Sports decided to do no show at the launching of JAPAN GT and the reason given “Mokhzani no longer an UMNO member”, and he should resign from his post as Chairman of SIC impliedly citing political differences between him and UMNO, impliedly saying the Chairman post is reserve for UMNO members. You tell that to Bernie Ecclestion, he will think we are mad, barking mad.

By the look of it the Minister in Question should resign. He should go away from sports all together with many other sports events for a very long time until he wakes up and realise that Sport and Politics doesn’t mix, in fact should not mix at all.

I hope you get my message, it is not Dato Mohkzani who should resign. Why ask someone who perform, deliver, proactive, pragmatic to go?
Asking him to vacate his post by reason of political differences surely makes you the Minister of Youth and Your Boss doing things “TAK MASUK AKAL”.

PLEASE USE YOUR BRAIN IN SPORT NOT POLITICS.
