BOYCOTT

Being a rather liberal person, I would choose to ignore the short minded Dutch MP movie “Fitna”. This is not his first and certainly will not be his last "Fitna" to Islam. Our beloved faith of Islam and our beloved Rasulullah (Peace Be Upon Him) were insulted in many forms including cartoons and caricatures for many years. Forget all the arguments, debate, protest, I would simply dismiss those cartoons caricatures by saying it is not our prophet and we should not be bother about it.

So came the calls to withdraw the movie. Do you really think the Europeans would stand behind us calling for the withdrawal of the movie? No, they dont, they wont, they wouldn’t be bother. You can walk down the streets burning cars shops flags, it wouldn’t hurt them at all.

So, the best move is to answer the calls to boycott Dutch products. Why? That will send their stock market and economy to the ground. Perhaps, that would happen.
This evening on TV3 News, I saw this Australian lady by the name of Ilham, disagree of such move. She looked wary. One of her reason, it will affect the Muslim business community dealing with Dutch products. She put it in such a way as if there are no other countries to trade with other than Netherland.

It is this type of people that makes us all fail in whatever symbolic protest we have in mind.

She makes us look weak and as if as a Muslim we have no choice in life.

AMPUN TUANKU

Many years ago someone told me, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, when he was Deputy Prime Minister should not have walked on the red carpet when visiting United States. Red carpet with guns salute and parade are meant for Kings, Presidents and perhaps Prime Ministers, definitely not for Deputy Prime Minister.

Events shown below must be during rehearsal at the Istana, as I understand it, only Dato' Bijaya Di Raja will stand on behalf of the Sultan during rehearsal. These photos below which I obtained from another blogger (without his consent) are bad, very bad. It shouldn’t have happened at all, it should not have appeared in the alternative media or any other media.

“Ampun Tuanku, beribu-ribu Ampun, Patek pacal yang hina memohon gambar ini disiarkan dengan harapan ianya tidak berlaku lagi. Ampun Tuanku.”

Stop Wasting Time

The new cabinet ministers are being nonsense again, they are not even 30 days in the new elected Government. Among the calls by them:-

1. To Get The Government To Apologise To Tun Salleh Abas;

To apologise to Tun Salleh Abas will cause more harm than good to the King and the Country.

2. To Meet Bloggers;

What Makes You Think The Bloggers Will Meet You? They will definitely tell the Minister of Information to go away and fly kite.

3. To Postpone UMNO Election;

Postponing the election proof one thing and one thing alone, UMNO is no longer relevant;

4. To Questions The Prerogative of DYMM Sultan Terengganu;

Why are you people wasting your time questioning the prerogative DYMM Sultan of Terengganu? Don’t you know, The Sultan is also the Yang Di Pertuan Agong ?
Why are you wasting your time? Don’t you know the Pemangku Sultan is only 10 years old.
And why are there suggestions of taking His Highness to the Special Court?

Don’t you people in the Cabinet have better things to do? Do something which will be beneficial to the Rakyat who is now suffering from inflation, cautious economy, rising price of oil and food, health, education, security etc.
Why are you people wasting your time?

NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD

The Bar Council today applauded the intention of Dato Zaid Ibrahim to persuade the Government to apologise to Tun Salleh Abas, the former Lord President.

Dear Dato Zaid, why do you want to do that for? Why do you want to embarrass the King and the Country? You don’t have to please the Bar Council to bring back confidence in the Judiciary.

Dear Tun Salleh Abas, as a Malay, a Muslim, you should forgive those who do wrong and injustice to you without the need of that person seeking apology to you. His All Mighty Allah Subhana Wataala, Most Knoweth Will Bless And Forgive You.
It was by the blessed of the His Majesty you were appointed as Lord President, it was also by the blessed His Highness Tuanku you were dismissed from your position as Lord President.

Calling the Government to apologise would amount to seeking His Highnesses hands for an apology, unless you really want His Majesty to bow before you.

Perhaps, it would be a good idea too that the Bar Council apologise to all the lawyers who were struck off the roles and suspended summarily by the Bar Council.

The truth is Tun, there is no justice in this world even though you are or were a Lord President.

Those In The Alternative Media, Shut Your Face, You Are Just Too Noisy

Every time when you read the alternative media, you will discover they voice similar views or opinion with either PAS DAP or PKR. To them the new line up of BN Cabinet Ministers are rubbish. It seems, even if you are Saint like, as long as it is BN Cabinet ministe, you poor honest soul will be regarded as someone who is good for nothing.

Perhaps these are the line up they have in mind:-

Prime Minister – Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim alternate every one year with the Deputies;

Deputy Prime Minister 1 – Lim Kit Siang;

Deputy Prime Minister 2 – Dato Abdul Hadi Awang;

Minister of Finance – Tan Sri Khalid;

Deputy Finance Minister – Teresa Kok;

Home Minister – Karpal Singh;

Deputy Home Minister – M Manoharan;

Foreign Minister – Azmin Ali;

Deputy Foreign Minister – Sivarasa Rasiah;

Defence Minister – Pro Taliban Pas Leader etc.

Whether the above will be shadow cabinet or the ruling cabinet, as I said earlier I just dont care, it does not matter to me, it doesnt affect me at all.
I just dont understand why do they have to slammed a face like Dato Amir Sham. Why can't they just let him do his job? Leave him alone, he is just a successful professional banker. These sort of bankers and financial managers are very focus with what they do, they don’t want people like you behind their back while they are doing their work. These people believe in performance and achieving targets. They don’t make promises like politicians until they see figures and numbers.

So Why Dont You People Out There In the So Called Alternative Media Just Shut Your Face, You Are Just Too Noisy.

The Sins of UMNO

The lost of BN in Kedah Perak Penang and Selangor to the opposition was definitely a slapped on the face to the BN, in particular UMNO. It is a wake up call for them. Large number of the BN leaders thought they will never fall. Safe seats are no longer safe. MCA MIC GERAKAN and other small parties like PPP should take the blame for the lost too.

Do not blame voters who votes for the opposition, do not blame those who refuse to vote. In general election, the voters are innocent all the way.

Anywhere you go, the young, the old, the working ladies in particular said “Pandan Muka” “Serve them right”. Wait a minute, large number of them who said these are not voters or even registered voters. What if they do vote?

What cause this humiliation lost? I will simplify for you. Do not trust all these so called expert who appears on television, they are just another patronizing bastards with the exception of Dr Agus from UKM of course.

1. The KJ Factor - somehow the public when they hear this name, their blood boils, to date there are 48 anti KJ blogs;

2. UMNO Seven Deadly Sins – they all have it, look at them, speak to any UMNO leaders in particular at branch level, they appear to commit these two, Gluttony and Envy every day;

3. The Unwanted Complete Joke Ministers – These jokers can’t even speaks, even if they do they make us look like an idiot.

4. The No Show DUNs and MPs.- These are DUNs and MPs that you will never meet after the election;

5. The Ever Corrupt, Unapproachable Local Council Link To UMNO Division committees. – These local councils will do anything to serve UMNO members but not the rakyat;

6. The UMNO Branch Level Unfriendly Nature. – Do you notice, most of UMNO branch level leaders are incapable but act like a King that you need to bow even before you speak to them;

7. The Frustration Of The Public Towards UMNO - you people let them down, the petrol, oil, the rising costs of living, as if nothing could be done, from time and time again the leaders were saying, sorry theres not much we can do about it. Do you know it is frustrating?

There are many more, you are free to add in the comment column.

Who Do You Vote?

One thing for sure, the incumbent DUN and MP failed to fulfil my dreams wishes and desires.
I guess the same goes to all of the people of Bukit Antarabangsa. The only thing visible since the last election, the road was resurfaced, which was done 6 months ago, a sign of General Election around the corner.

As a result I find DUNs and MPs have no relevance to my daily life, I have no need of them.

Then came the 2008 General Election, I was at the mamak shop, someone told me the DUN Azman Wahid will be the candidate for the new MP for Bukit Antarabangsa. What is so good about this school teacher that they nominate him as MP? His past record as DUN, in my opinion, he is good for nothing, I don’t think he has done anything. I wish he can show me his Key Performance Index (KPI). Perhaps in future all DUNs MPs should shows their KPIs at every 7/11, mosques, temples or at any place or site where all human being have access every six months as long as it is not place at the local council office. It will give the impression the DUN and the MP are in collaboration with the local council office.

There was a time, hospital is on the number one spot as a place of undesirable and uncomfortable for one to visit. Why not give the number one spot to the local council office as the most undesirable uncomfortable place to go in time of grievances.?

When the new DUN candidate was announced, I was told she is a lawyer. Those people who nominate her must have thought putting a lawyer was a smart moved.

Another lawyer? I thought to myself, why a lawyer? What is so good about her? I have not heard of her or see her and allow me to express my clear unequivocal unreserved unqualified reservation when it comes to lawyers. Only 10% lawyers really makes it in their practice, the rest fits the Malay idiom of “Hidup Segan Mati Tak Mahu”. They die of natural death.

The opposition or now the ruling party in Selangor, nominate Parti Keadilan Rakyat hardcore politician like Azmin Ali, former UMNO man, left UMNO to support Anwar on his reformasi ideology in 1998, being one of the founding people of PKR, for the past 10 years, his life must be heaven or hell, I do not want to be in his shoes.

One thing for sure, he is a suitable candidate worth considering as the new DUN for Bukit Antarabangsa.

Bye Bye Mr and Mrs Bukit Antarabangsa Part 1

If you are all for Barisan Nasional, you would appreciate the anxiety I have to go through, by 9pm, I heard the crash of one after the other of BN candidate. I was in total shocked when I heard the incumbent MP of Lembah Pantai hit the sand too.

Where do they go wrong? If UMNO do not know it by now, I suggest UMNO, to close shop.

To start of, let us look at Bukit Antarabangsa, what was wrong with the last BN candidates, DUN and Parliamentary.

In the 2004 election, the DUN candidate for Bukit Antarabangsa was Azman Wahid, he took the throne from his father in law, Dato Mufti Shuib. Does it sound familiar to you, in 2008, Dato Zakaria Mat Deros passed his throne to his daughter in law. These two candidates are known as "Calun Parachute".

The candidate for Parliamentary in 2004 was another "Calun Parachute" a dentist by the name of Dr Rodziah. Does it sound familiar to you? Of course, the Menteri Besar of Selangor was a dentist.

For years, years in today’s world means more than 10 years and less than 15 years, I waited for school to be built at Bukit Antarabangsa, Pondok Polis, even the Bergerak one will do and a small sweet Government Clinic, not that I am always sick. It is good to have one, not everyone who live in Bukit Antarabangsa are rich, most of them just past the mark to be known as middle class. Since rental is reasonable and its close to the city, many Malays choose to live in Bukit Antarabangsa. If one can safe money by going to the government clinic, why not? The money can be put to other good use for the family.

School, clinic and police beat, we dont want your money, your car, your position, all we ask for are these three basic need of every society, education, health and security.

I was hoping these two young candidates will bring change to Bukit Antarabangsa. I was hoping since it is known as DUN and Parliament Bukit Antarabangsa they will put up their service centre at Bukit Antarabangsa and gives us priorities. Unlike like Ampang Jaya built in the 70s, Bukit Antarabangsa was developed in the early 90s and growing, it need constants and immediate attention.

I was also hoping they would take care the environment too, the cutting of trees, the levelling of slopes along the hills of Bukit Antarabangsa are appalling, serious attention by the person in authority is imperative.

They both won handsomely, I was happy for them with much regret I only met them once after the election.

Azman Wahid went missing after the election, I don’t want to remember him if I can help it and I don’t care about him. The road next to Petronas at Ampang Jaya is so bad, nothing has been done during the 4 years of his tenure as DUN. If he cant even take care of Ampang Jaya the strongly hold of is father in law, all the more he couldnt careless of Bukit Antarabangsa. I am sure he received many complains from the public. Forget the local authority, they are totally and utterly useless people. They will only visit you when you do your renovation, just to check whether they are of any assistance to the house owner, in case you have extra money to give away. Any complain, do not pass it to them, they are not in authority to take complain, you may lodge at MPAJ office or to the DUN.

The DUN!!! forget it, he was a former school teacher who doesn’t read complain at all. A real hopeless good for nothing man!!!

I met MP Rodziah in an UMNO Bukit Antarabansa meeting in 2005. Wait a minute.... I am not an UMNO member of Bukit Antarabangsa.

I spoke to MP Rodziah on the need for school, she said, "show me the land, I get the the school build. "

MP Rodziah!!! Why the hell should I do that? It is your job, you go and find the land to build the school, I don’t care how you do it, steal it if you have too, it is for the benefit of the children at Bukit Antarabangsa, not you nor me. Stupid woman!!!

Later, I spoke to her of my concern of the development at the slope at Kampung Sungai Sering, the developer were building low costs flats, by the blocks of 11 storey. I do not want to see another Highland Tower. She look at the person next to me and said “ Itu State punya kan?” Referring to the State of Selangor project, as if her hands are tight, she gave that look as if there is nothing she can do about it. Useless woman!!!

Since then, no news from them both DUN or MP.

Meanwhile, the crime rates at Bukit Antarabangsa increased, almost everyone I know at Bukit Antarabangsa experience break in or attempted break in of their houses or cars or even robbed during broad day light while getting into their cars at Giant. There are only two entrances and exits in Bukit Antarabangsa, it is easy to have it secured but the DUN nor MP do nothing, the thieves robbers and muggers goes in and out to do their sins as they wishes, day or night, knowing nothing will happen to them.

No school, no police station or beat, no clinic, increase of crime rates.
I have yet to discuss about prunning of trees, road conditions, pavement, which was only resurface 6 months ago.

Do you think you make the people happy?

Vote For Peace And Harmony And Nothing Else

It was like yesterday, in 1994 I gave Al Marhum my father a lift to the Voting Centre at Kampung Baru, to be exact at Jalan Stonor. Before he got out of the car I asked my him, “Why don’t you vote for the Opposition……..give the Opposition a chance.” The candidate for the opposition at that time was from PAS.

My father is a very proud Malay man, he was proud he was part of the civil service, he was proud he served the former Jabatan Telekom for 25 years, before he opted for retirement when Telekom was privatised. He lives on his pension, in 1995 it was for a mere RM350 or less. He doesn’t even own a house. He believes the government has provided everything he needed. A simple malay man, at that time, I for one can never understand as to why he look highly at Tun Mahathir and Barisan Nasional.

“Do you know it is not as simple as you thought in choosing a leader?......" He said, ".....Do not gamble when choosing one. You do not know what it was like to look for food when there was no peace. You do not know what it was like to ensure you and your sibling gets fed when there was no food about.”

He was referring to the tragedy of 13th May, 1969, at that time I was so young with 2 other siblings we lived at Jalan Hamzah, Kampung Baru. I have my grandmother at Jalan Raja Alang, the other grand mother at Jalan Raja Uda. Both parents are from Kampung Baru. I heard of curfew those days, I was told several of my uncles broke into a few shops at Jalan Raja Laut in order to find food for the Kampung Baru people. They were nearly shot by the army for breaking the curfew.

The former Assistant District Officer, Criminal Division before the establishment of Bukit Aman once told me, “I can never forget when I saw the Malays came from Kampung Baru they walked from Kampung Cendana and the Chinese came from Tiong Nam”. The exact location from Tiong Nam was from Selangor Mansion, where Sogo is standing now. "They were about to clashed at Campbell Road next to Odeon Cinema. We managed to stop them…” he said. “…..Along the way back they did all lot of damage, destroying whatever the see on their path.”. No one knew what happen to my grandmother who was at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman that noon. She was last seen opposite the Globe Silk Store. Missing until today.

I grew up to learn there is no grave of my mothers mum when I visit Ampang Cemetery every Hari Raya morning.

I also grew to up to learned to visit the neighbours whether they are Chinese or Indian or any other race or tribes, it does not matter. My mother will ensure we dressed up in the morning at every Chinese New Year or Deepavali or Christmas, she looked at us and said, “ Go to Mr and Mrs Indra’s house 3 doors away, wish them Happy Deepavali or go to Mr Mrs Ooi’s house opposite our house and wish him Kong Hee Fatt Choy. I will join u later.” She never joined us as far as I remember. She never stopped reminding us until the day she died.

Today, I did the same to my children except they are as tender as 3 years old and I accompanied them as a proud father. I am very happy to wish my neigbours Happy Chinese New Year or Merry Christmas with the children. All these will never happen without peace and harmony. I know I will never be able to thank both of my parents, I will continue their dreams and wishes for a peaceful country. I will definitely vote the party that can give peace and harmony. The free oil, or gas are definitely a bonus. You cannot buy peace and harmony.

Selamat Mengundi. Undilah Pemimpin Yang Menjanjikan Keamanan dan Kesejahteraan.
