SELAMAT MENYAMBUT HARI KEMERDEKAAN

This is a quote I discovered from a book I read from time to time to remind myself on the importance of national unity. It is a book written by Tunku Abdul Rahman. In his article "The Role of the King", Tunku wrote:

“I have never forgotten to mention all these in my first prayer of the day, and that is God’s truth.

I have always prayed that Malaysians must keep together no matter what their political ideologies may be. They must be in the best terms of goodwill and friendship towards one another so that in diversity we find unity.”

To all Malaysian, Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan from all us of at DARIHULU.

MY RAYA BUDGET

Budget Day, no matter how good the Government “Table” the Budget today, it doesn’t stop the rise the price of food on the table. The Government will never ever able to compensate 25% rise on the daily groceries. Not even Anwar Ibrahim can stop inflation and that is for sure. “Dia boleh cakap aje”.

And Anwar, what crap are you talking about? Pak Lah “gementar” and all, why should Pak Lah “gementar”? Comment on the Budget lah, not Pak Lah.

I know, it is a hard habit to break, after many years on stage shows, you just can’t help it, shove the microphone and you start to behave as if you are in one of those campaigns stage again. Come on lah….you are now an MP and Head of Opposition, behave like one.
If you can’t, “Berlagak lah” like one.

BLOODY HANDPHONE, WHAT DO YOU SAY?

Dato Nizar directive yesterday of no guests can bring in handphones in his office is definitely a good idea. Best of them all, part of transparency and good governance.

I don’t like handphones that much either, I find them nuisance when it ring after 8pm, when it ring in the cinema, when it ring in the mosque, when someone driving in front of me using the handphones.

If I can help it, I want to ban handphones in meetings too. It is a shame that it has become our social culture to look at our handphone when it is not ringing, walk into a meeting you will notice someone look at their handphones under the table. I think it is rude to look at your handphone when someone is talking to you. This new up coming behaviour happen in mosques too, especially during Friday prayers, as the Imam delivers his “Khutbah”, there are among us looking at their handphones from time to time or replying to their sms as if the sms is so urgent that it can't wait after the prayer.

I am very much delighted Dato Nizar has become proactive, I hope to see that his banned on handphone extended to wherever he goes in carrying out his official duties, I am positive in 12 months, Perak States economy will by pass other States and of course eliminate corruption too, so help me God.

WHEN IT RAIN, NO ASTRO, NO TV

I can’t write much now, as usual if you are on Astro and it rain the whole evening since 6pm, just switch on the DVD, nothing can be watched on Astro. One of the reasons I am happy to vote for PKR is just to ensure Astro no longer have monopoly over satellite television. Actually, there is none in PKR manifesto, so I don’t vote for them.
To those yang masih sedih BN kalah teruk, below will enlighten your evening, I received these photos via email from someone who has a very good sense of humour title “Posing Giler”. I believe he receive it from unknown source.

BRAND NEW DAY

Anwar return to Parliament today shows he stand by himself, a one man army who will keep to his words in throwing this present Government to the ground and becoming the next Prime Minister.

Congratulation, he has done well despite of all obstacles one could imagine, the people at Permatang Pauh surely knows how to appreciate “Yang mana satu Intan dan yang mana satu Kaca”.

It is now hard to predict whether he will ever stand trial. What if he is the Prime Minister? No country in this world has charge their Prime Minister for sodomy, corruption yes, not sodomy.

If he ever becomes the Prime Minister, will it affect me? No, I don’t think so, simply because I don’t care who ever becomes the Prime Minister except that I enjoy campaigning for UMNO. UMNO people are less boring.

So, it is true anyone in America can become the President or Astronaut, in Malaysia anyone can become the Prime Minister or Mawi.

What happen to the Malays these days? Now everyone is not telling the truth unless and until he or she “Bersumpah”. Nobody is going to believe you by what you say unless you “Bersumpah”. Dress appropriately, get all the Imams around you, the bigger the mosque the better, bring your father and mother along, then “Bersumpah”. The only smart person who is yet to “Bersumpah” is Anwar. Najib done it, Tajol Rosli done it, after the By Election at Permatang Pauh it would be someone from the Election Commission who is going to “Bersumpah” just to deny his involvement with election rigging, if any.

After the “Sumpah” you wait, no… not God’s punishment, someone somewhere, so called Ulamak, Guru, Imam, Mufti, arguing over your “sumpah” whether it is acceptable, valid, observing the Syarak practice and all that is Greek to me.

Apa nak jadi Orang Melayu, perhaps if Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat are around today, we make them “Bersumpah” too. Both "Stupido" akan Bersumpah.

To all Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat at Permatang Pauh, Selamat Mengundi.

WHERE ARE THE FLAGS?

5 days to Merdeka Day celebration and there are not much of the Jalur Gemilang about, not on houses, flats, apartment buildings, most obvious buses and cars. Where is the spirit of Merdeka? The call to raise the flags almost not heard off. Several years ago, it really gets on my nerve when I hear the call to raise the flag on the radio, not that I hate such call, I just don’t like it since it was called by MBF.

The other thing that I hate so much off late is the call to raise the flag upside down. Some even defended the idea as a sign of protest and "kononnya” in Japan it is okey to do so. Of course lah, the Japanese flag if you turn it upside down won't make any difference. Our flag or Saudi Arabia flag or many other flags if ever turn upside down would means Death, especially Saudi Arabia. The Pakatan State Governments do nothing about it as if supporting such call. If you do not raise it with pride and dignity, who else would do?

Question for you all out there, would you die for the Malaysian Flag?

MINTA MAAF BEFORE ITS TOO LATE

image:Hamid Karzai holds Quran sworn as President

Pak Lah must have been hearing me when he reduces the price of petrol, not much but it helps, it helps to ease the pain of the people and for me after twice taking the gifts of RM625.00 per car registration.

Pak Najib swore in the mosque, read my July posting, http://darihulu.blogspot.com/2008/07/que-sera-sera-pm-will-be-2-x.html, its not new, just believe him, about time those who feels the heat, minta maaf to mother father and Pak Najib, after all its Friday, as all of us can see RPK is feeling the heat of prison and hell.
By the way when I said "Lets look forward to new PM presumably from Permatang Pauh", it was a joke, I don't mean it. I still like to see PakLah as PM.
So, bila Pak Anwar nak bersumpah pulak? Minta maaf pun ok, we don't care anymore.

Friday 22 August 2008

NO PETROL REDUCTION???

Pak Lah was doing quite well when he gets on his job, hardly to be seen or heard off at Permatang Pauh.

Everyone was hoping that he comes out with something ingenius, he did something swell today by taking the commuter, LRT, took the next train or LRT like us at rush hour and standing too in the crowd. Sometime 2 weeks ago I saw Pak Lah in a pack elevator, it doesn’t bother him at all, so it is not new to him when he took a pack train and LRT. He is aware that immediate action need to be taken to improve the services of this two modes of transportation in the city.

I think it is about time that Pak Lah looks into Astro services as well. Astro services needs more improvement than the train and the LRT.

Actually I was hoping Pak Lah make his ingenius move by reducing the price of petrol this week. It would be good for BN election campaign without the need of Pak Lah campaigning at Permatang Pauh. Today it was reported that price of oil shot to USD121 per barel, which confirm the possibility of the reduction of the price of petrol this week is nil.

If that is the case, we should be having a new Prime Minister soon. Yes that one person who is going to reduce the price of petrol by 70 cents immediately once he is the Prime Minister.

DEBATE 2, TOPIC BORING

The Debate comes to live again last night. This time, it was between Lim Guan Eng and Koh Tsu Koon. Both produced rather impressive questions and answers in their own style.

The debate was about a land granted by the previous Government to an individual and the present Government is not happy about it, to date no one charge by BPR over this issue. Guan Eng was mumbling over RM40m lost, something I have no clue about and I would not care since it is Penang issue and not Selangor issue.

Both seem to surprise each other with their replies to the questions, both were capable to knock each other down. From time to time you could see Guan Eng sort of “menahan marah”. Unlike Anwar & Shabery Chik debate, the debate last night aired on NTV 7 was more polished. I think, it was better since there is no Anwar in it.

Guan Eng played the right tone, “macam orang berkempen”, he repeated his promised that the new State Government is going to be corrupt free and transparent for better Malaysia, for Rakyat, for All Bangsa. Wah… wah… wah… Bestnya, Macam Kekasih Baru, Boleh Janji Macam-macam, Orang Dulu Pun Janji Begitu.

One thing for sure Lim Guan Eng, the way I see it, is going to stay in Penang for a very long time. Gerakan can kiss their party goodbye or change name to “Tidak Akan BerGerak”.

I wonder when will Azmin debate with Khir Toyo. “Mesti Kelakar”.

No…not Khalid, Khalid is not funny although he thinks he is.

MANIPULATION PARANOIA

AI is not going to give his blood sample for fear that it is going to be manipulated.

AI previous blood sample, if ever used in trial, has been manipulated.

AI should not allow anyone to take his DNA, it is going to be manipulated.

The medical record from HKL has been manipulated.

The evidence they are going to produce at his trial will be manipulated.

The debate AI volunteer to participate has been manipulated.

Don’t you believe whatever being said about AI on the television, it has been manipulated.

AI is not going to swear in the name of Allah and the Quran, it is going to be manipulated.

The By Election at Pematang Pauh is not manipulate, that is why AI is contesting.
What da ya think?

ANDA SAKIT HATI?

Will it be the same words, or will it be something new? About 6 months ago, RPK tell off Messrs Zul Rafique & Co to go to hell for sending him letter of demand.

This time RPK, is being challenge by Dato Shafie Abdullah who told RPK he got no balls. That’s how I understand it. Whether RPK got balls or not, it does not matter to me. The questions now, why must everyone entertain each and every wild allegation made by RPK? RPK as I said in my last posting, “Macam Orang Gila T****K”. Since when kita “Layan Orang Gila”, generally we don’t, we even evade them whenever we can, especially when we saw them coming towards us. RPK probably suffers some sort of disease known as “Tak Boleh Tengok Orang Senang”. Yes, "tak boleh tengok orang senang is a disease", usually among UMNO members.

Do we take “Orang Sakit” to Court or do we take them to “Rumah Sakit”?

Anyway, I just love it when Dato Shafie said,”Kita datang dekat dia, dia ingat kita nak pukul dia.”

Dato, do you know why he behave in such manner? Its another disease known as “Paranoia or Paranoid, it is a form of Fear, constant suspicions of other, arise part of it from guilty conscience.
You can also say he is "Penakut".

MENGUNDI LAGI PERMATANG PAUH?

Three corner fight, I wonder who planted the other candidate from a party I have not heard off. Are they one of those party or candidate who are keen to “jual tapak” as election date get closer.

“Jual Tapak”, by political definition means, “Someone who interfere a straight fight by contesting, withdraw from contesting at the last hour and throw his support to any of the two contestanst. Usually the withdrawal comes with ex gratia payment by any one of contestant supporters. “Jual tapak” was rampant in UMNO’s election a decade ago.

Whether it is two or three corner fight, the punters are beginning to put money. It seems Anwar is going to win with a reduce majority, this is the prediction by the propaganda machine. Smart machine, tell everyone he is going to win, then everyone who does not want him to win will go out and vote to ensure he is not going to win,

Mind you, BN candidate has good clean record which Anwar do not have in Penang. So I think we know who is going to be the winner with simple majority.

To those who “mengundi”, “Selamat Mengundi”.

To those who is not “mengundi”, Put your money where your mouth is.

UNEXPECTED EVENT

This took place many years ago, by the grace of Tok Guru Nik Aziz, I had my first taste of Syariah practice in Kota Bharu. It was our first trial, as the first witness was about to take oath by putting her right hand on the Quran, I said to my partner , “If any of the witnesses tell lies, we let them walk out of the court first, just in case lightning strike at the door."
It was at the same court someone was strike by lightning long time ago.

So, when I saw Saiful Bukhari sworn by the Quran on Friday evening TV3 news, with words “Wallahi Wabillahi Wataallahi”, followed by a sworn statement, it was like watching an unexpected live execution. I was told in Saudi Arabia the execution often took place after the Friday prayers.

The issues at hand, how do we perceive this mode of sworn statement? Are we suppose to dismiss it by saying it is another conspiracy? Are we supposed to reject it since this sort of sworn statement is inadmissible in our court of law? And eventually, who are we to believe?

I know for sure in Islam by his conduct today I have to believe him unless proven otherwise. At the moment, the adik, kakak, many girls and women out there saw him are having big big crush on Saiful.
What do you say?

WELL DONE MENTERI BESAR 2

MB Khalid said he is not going to apologise, “nothing to apologise about”.

In my previous posting, I labelled MB Perak as “Kurang Ajar”, now I think we have two MBs “Kurang Ajar”, welcome on board MB Selangor. Soon, there will be three.

It is unfair, we have one from PAS, one from PKR, how about MB from UMNO/BN?

Of course we have, they dont speak, they use sign language, why don’t you guess from which State this MB is from?

Tak lama lagi, I hope see one Chief Minister to use the words “TIU NIA S***G!!! ”.

Thursday 14 August 2008

CHEAP SHOW OF MB SELANGOR

If you watch TV3 news last night, MB Khalid state of sorry, as i see it, is not good enough for me. It puzzle me when a very well educated person, well to do, very experience, overwhelming of confidence, suddenly speaks, from prepared text, trying very hard to shed tears at the same time calling everyone to stop arguing over the issue he raised on the intake of UITM.

I even thought he want us to cry with him, if he does, I take it as crocodile tears. Do you notice, the other two cows standing next to him especially that so called ulamak but nothing more than arrogant loud mouth Dr Hassan Ali, it looks as if he is responsible too, otherwise why is he standing next to MB Khalid, unless he wants to “pimpin tangan” MB Khalid.
That sort of person “keluar air mata darah sekalipun”, I will not have faith in him. Anyway all three of them like "Three Stooges", with cheap crocodile tears.

“PERTAHANKAN UITM".

MB SELANGOR RUPANYA BODOH

Tan Sri Khalid must be a very brave man when he asked UITM to be more liberal on its student intake. The demonstration held today by the students of UITM at the State Secretary Building today is another show that the Malays are not ready to open up on sensitive issues, in fact compromise on the issues much talk about now, Islam and the Malay.

Tan Sri Khalid forgot not all Malays are like him who is someone I pressume did not benefit from Dasar Ekonomi or Hak hak Istimewa Orang Melayu. Tan Sri Khalid forget, many Malays including me, if it is not for Dasar Ekonomi Baru or UITM or MARA, I could be selling “Bunga Api or Kad Hari Raya” this September at Chow Kit Road or a bit upmarket area such as Jalan Masjid India.

Tan Sri Khalid, you must be the most foolish Menteri Besar Selangor. Don't you know why UITM was established?

By the way Tan Sri Khalid, I met YB Sivarasa yesterday, and I think he is more polish than you, in fact more careful than you, you clumsy silly old man..Orang Lain Berani Kerana Benar, You Berani Kerana Bodoh.

RAISE THE FLAG, DEFEND THE FLAG

image: kazakhstan

I came from a school, must be the only school in Malaysia that held public demonstration, at one instance, someone was about to burn the national flag but something else took place, one of the student, raised the national flag half pole and starts dancing in front of the flag. I do not know what happen next, I knew it was taken down later, the student was expelled.

One thing I can never forget until today, the disciplinary teacher walks into the class room after the unfortunate event and said, “Do not play a fool with a flag, people die for the flag”.

Since that day I took very seriously when there is a call to raise the flag, it sadden me when I saw the Malaysian flags left to rot at Government buildings or anywhere for that matter. In fact I was told by a former Admiral, “…should you raise a flag at your house, salute the flag in morning.”

For the past few weeks there are blogs called for the raising of the flag upside down. I strongly believe those who called to raise the flag upside down must be stripped of their citizenship. The Malaysian flag as far as I am concern must be treated as sacred. No one should tolerate such unwanted call, no matter what race or religion.

Sunday 10 August 2008

GREAT "BALLS" OF FIRE

My father once said, “Jangan main-mainkan ugama Islam. Orang Melayu dengan Islam adalah sesuatu yang sensitive untuk di bincangkan oleh orang lain.”

The British knew so well the Malays would not tolerate anyone who undermined Islam, Raja-Raja Melayu and the Special Privilege of the Malays. They knew the Malays will go all out to defend it, hence as written in the Federal Constitution.

It was good to see Zulkifli Nordin at the Bar Council building doing something about it. I know Zul Nordin (in short) since the day I was a junior counsel. We use to have coffee together since our office was in the same building. He runs a small practice then, much of his works are pro bono and he is never short of doing voluntary work including being one of the committee member of the mosque around the corner. To me, he is one of the most approachable and likeable person I ever met.

Despite of our political differences, I always have high regards for him. What he did yesterday shows that he got “Balls” since many Malay lawyers I know worry of their “Periuk Nasi”.

Friday 8 August 2008

DENY

Sankara Nair told the press, the Charge, the Bail, the proceeding was fair. I wish this statement came from Anwar Ibrahim himself since his road show questions the credibility of the Judiciary even the one held last night at Taman Medan.

Anwar Ibrahim told the press, why charge him alone, the complainant should be charge too.
Dato Seri, both of you will be charge if the complainant is a third party, preferably a witness, direct witness, someone who saw the “voluntariness” “willing giver, willing receiver” like in corruption cases, otherwise only one party will be charge as in corruption cases too.

Someone at Court asked me, “Are you Anti Anwar, you sound like one?.” I replied with a big “No.….lah…..” But then again I told him, “Why is he given so much leeway, it took the AG more than a month to charge him after the completion of the investigation, why can he decline to give his blood sample, why was he allowed to be accompanied by his solicitors during investigation (somehow he spend his night alone at Bukit Aman, otherwise one of his lawyers do not mind spending a night with him), why was he subpoenaed to court to have the charge read to him?” How I wish my clients have the same pleasure.

I didn’t know I have become as someone who is Anti Anwar. I deny I Anti Anwar, I deny I don’t like him, I deny I want to see him jail. I deny it was me who he insisted the AG and the IGP to charge him at Court.

Deny is the word of the day.

LAWYERS DAY OUT

imagesource: ebbemunk.dk

Finally, Anwar is going to be charge this morning. While we await the charge, the bail amount, the trial date, the demonstration, the defence team, the alibi, the witnesses, here is something worth for a laugh.

Skinny little white guy goes into an elevator, looks up and sees this HUGE black guy standing next to him. The big guy sees the little guy staring at him looks down and says: '7 feet tall, 350 pounds, 20 inch private, 3 pound testicles, Turner Brown.'

The little guy faints and falls to the floor. The big guy kneels down and brings him to, shaking him. The big guy says: 'What's wrong with you?' In a weak voice the little guy says, 'What EXACTLY did you say to me?'
The big dude says: 'I saw your curious look and figured I 'd just give you the answers to the questions everyone always asks me..... I'm 7 feet tall, I weigh 350 pounds, I have a 20 inch private, my testicles weigh 3 pounds each, and my name is Turner Brown.'

The small guy says: 'Turner Brown?!..Sweet Jesus, I thought you said, 'Turn around'.

APOLOGY LAGI?

The incident that took place in Penang when a press camera woman hold by the throat, punched pushed by PKR supporters clearly shows when a political party came from the same piece of cloth, the members tend to inherit the disgrace conduct from their former party. Their heads were down when they were powerless, once they are in power they show their true colours. There are thugs among them as they grow stronger, they will be everywhere, the Ijok election shows PKR are not short thugs among them.

Today they apologise, they want us to accept their apology. The first public apology came when PKR MPs failed to prepare questions within the period specified, we are suppose to accept that apology too.

I remember a former High Court Judge got piss off when one morning every lawyers that appear before him seek an apology until he flipped and make this remark “Apology, I have full of it today, look at the basket.”. The Judge pointed at the waste basket.

Soon or later, we will be saying almost the same to PKR, for better or for worse, they are just another pile of rubbish.

Tuesday 5 August 2008

THIS IS TRUE

“If you give me RM3 billion, I reduce the price of petrol by 50 cents tommorrow,”. Anwar sounds very promising 3 weeks ago, now he said he will reduce it by 70 cents, more promises? I certainly hope he honour his promise if his dreams ever come true.

He will get my vote since he promised to reduce the price of petrol 70 cents per litre from its current price and I believe he can do more if he get more than RM3 billion he asked for on a simple basic calculation, this is how I understand it, that is by giving him RM6 billion instead of RM3 billion, he will be able to reduce the price of petrol to RM1.40, give him RM9 billions he reduce it to RM2.10, give him RM12 billion, he reduce it by RM2.80.

Current price RM2.70, Pak Lah plan to reduce petrol by 30 cents in September then we will pay RM2.40 per litre. Make Anwar Prime Minister, give him RM12 billion, based on his simple arithmetic, he will reduce it by RM2.80, which means by Raya we will be paying toll rates only for “Balik Kampung”, petrol or car fuel will be free.

By the way Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, is it true that “Some people lie so much until they believe in their own lie.?”

WHAT A BASTARD!!!

What does he plan to do as Prime Minister if he is ever elected as Prime Minister?

We know he has no faith with the police force, he thinks Tan Sri Musa and everyone below him wants to nail him to the ground.

He has no faith with the Attorney General, he thinks the Attorney General and everyone around the AG wants to flush him down the toilet.

He has no faith in the Judiciary, he think everyone in the Judiciary including the Lord President and all His Lordship and His Ladyship wants to see him behind bar at Sungai Buloh again.

We can conclude, if he ever makes it as Prime Minister, firstly he will sack the AG, IGP and the Lord President since he has no faith in system. Next, he will sack their Deputies, then their Heads, then the Heads Deputies, it will go on and on until the system that has been in place for over 50 years dismantle according to his wish and desire.

It is apparent AI is the sort of person who just could not careless about others, egocentrical, selfish and self centred, everything he say starts with"Saya...Saya....Saya".

I just can’t appreciate the type of idiot who will vote for him. Having said that some people say, we need a bastard to run this country. Sure, we need a bastard but not this kind of Bastard.

Friday 1 August 2008

FOR THE LOVE

For the love of her husband, the first woman Opposition Leader, the supposed to be first woman Prime Minister, if there is take over, decided to give away her seat at Permatang Pauh.

It is going to be Permatang Pauh and I knew it, AI will not stand for election at Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Kangsar not even Kulim. No one will surrender their seat.

Bandar Tun Razak well known for Bad Luck to politician, if you are UMNO member which AI was once, Bandar Tun Razak is bad karma. Tan Sri Khalid on second thought will not give away Bandar Tun Razak to Anwar.

Kuala Kangsar not safe enough for AI, Rafidah Aziz will tell AI who was her former student to Balik Kampong.

Kulim, he can’t wait the court's decision on the petition against Zulkifli Nordin since his arrest is around the corner and its imminent.

So, what next, will he be arrested before the election? Yes, he will be arrested.

Next, Yang Di Pertua Dewan Rakyat will not accept Wan Azizah letter of resignation for she is not incapacitated, bed ridden sickness, hilang akal (may be, grounds for consideration) which means she will remain as an MP until some sort of Body, at Dewan Rakyat approved her resignation or someone will go to court and challenge her resignation. Pending the outcome, there will be no by election.

Another hot day for AI, get a Bomoh AI.
